| Primary Responsibility : Reporting directly to Americold’s EVP & Chief Investment Officer, the newly created Director of Integration Management will have ownership over the Americold Integration Management Office (IMO), which is responsible for coordinating and managing the integration of all Americold acquisitions. This individual will partner with all functional teams across the organization to help execute key M&A integration objectives and efficiently fold newly acquired businesses into the Americold portfolio. What You’ll Do : • Coordinate with Americold’s M&A team and participate in due diligence to evaluate key issues, assess integration requirements and challenges while developing post-close integration plans • Develop and coordinate integration project plans and objectives across all functional teams: • Operations • Commercial Finance • Finance, Planning & Accounting (FP&A) • Information Technology (IT) • Human Resources (HR) • Supply Chain Solutions / Development • Business Development • Legal • Lead cross functional team of executives to execute integration plans and deliver on M&A objectives • Drive day-to-day execution and governance of the integration process, including coaching cross-functional teams, leading weekly integration team meetings and driving proactive issue resolution • Identify cross functional dependencies and issues among workstreams and quickly escalate risks – especially those with the potential to lead to business disruptions • Track expected synergies from each acquisition and maintain reporting to ensure the company realizes underwritten financial targets of the acquisition • Develop and execute a communication strategy that keeps the organization informed of all key integration activities and milestones • Facilitate change management across newly acquired companies as well as the legacy organization • Continuously refine the integration expertise across the organization • Prepare executive level report outs to senior leadership and Board of Trustees to highlight status of in-flight integration initiatives and milestones What Experience and Education You Need : • Bachelor’s degree in a business field. MBA preferred but not required. • 7 – 10+ years in a business-related field; Consulting, Finance and M&A experience highly desired. • Program management experience with a proven track record delivering on expected objectives and goals by leveraging project management disciplines, tools and analysis. • Strong business acumen and executive presence. • Strong interpersonal / communication skills required, as this role will require a strong personality that can effectively direct objectives / drive accountability across functional groups. • Experience in / with highly acquisitive companies (i.e., companies that have grown largely through acquisitions) is a plus. • Effective PowerPoint and deck building skills/experience. What Could Set You Apart : • Must be a strong facilitator, skilled at leading multiple, cross functional projects and initiatives and managing team effectiveness. Must have proven management experience leading teams (which most of the time will not be direct reports). • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong team player and able to collaborate very effectively in a highly matrix organization. • Ability to manage up and influence senior leadership. • Self-starter with exceptional ability to identify and solve problems.
