Advocates for Associate Mental Health
Supporting mental health at Americold is crucial for creating a thriving, productive and positive work environment for our associates. In our APAC region, all associates and their immediate family members are provided holistic wellbeing services which offer medical, safety and wellbeing support. Additionally, the region acknowledges ‘R U OK?’ Day every September and encourage associates to take some time out to check in on their teammates.
Safety is Our #1 Priority
Keeping our associates safe is a top priority. Our Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) program helps create a proactive safety culture by reinforcing safe habits and coaching employees when risks are identified. We also follow strict Process Safety Management (PSM) standards to stay compliant with OSHA and EPA regulations, using real-time monitoring to manage our ammonia systems safely.
Leading a Sustainable Food Supply Chain
We are committed to reducing waste, saving energy, and using resources responsibly. Our facilities integrate energy-efficient designs, waste reduction programs, and water conservation efforts to minimize environmental impact and improve operations.
