
Recruitment Fraud Notice
Genuine Americold Career Opportunities and Recruitment Fraud. Please
beware of fraudulent recruiting scams and communications that do not originate from Americold. Phishing scams
can appear as fake job offers or other phony communications used to convince job hunters to send personal
information. Cyber criminals often use familiar-looking or convincing company logos, real employee’s names,
language, and links to fake websites that appear to be those of real organizations. These criminals might also
seek fees for services they will never render.
During the initial recruiting process,
Americold will not solicit non-work related personal information such as a social security number, credit card
number, date of birth, bank account information, or marital status. Americold does not take payment from
candidates for employment purposes and will not be liable for any kind of loss or damage incurred because of
dealing with such entities.
If someone sends or offers to send you a check for training,
equipment, etc., they do not work for or represent Americold and are likely seeking to defraud you. Emails to
applicants that originate from Americold will end with “@americold.com” Americold does not use email accounts
such as @yahoo or @gmail for recruiting purposes, and you should assume that any such email is fraudulent and
not from Americold.
If you ever have doubts regarding the legitimacy of an email
communication, website, or any other relevant issue relating to Americold, please email your concern or question
to: communications@americold.com. Americold will strive to investigate the situation and have corrective action
taken. When doing so, please generate a new message and send the original questionable letter or email message
as an attachment; if it an email message, do not change the original subject line of the email you received or
edit the original message’s content in any way.
