Primary Responsibility :

Seeking a highly motivated self-starter, with strong accounting fundamentals who has the ability to execute key accounting and financial processes both independently and as part of a team. This role is intended for a driven individual who is eager to learn and eventually grow into a management position in the company. We offer a dynamic and modern flex-work culture with the ability to work remotely the majority of each week.


What You’ll Do :

• Execute multiple general ledger accounting processes from end-to-end
• Thorough understanding of accruals and debits/credits to prepare monthly journal entries
• Conduct thorough reviews and reconciliations of monthly balance sheet accounts with a focus on cash reconciliations and related processes
• Serve as the liaison between corporate headquarters and geographically distributed field accountants for a portfolio of sites
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups, including development of budgets and forecasts
• Manipulate and interpret large amounts of data to perform variance analyses
• Problem solve and analyze financial data related to assigned areas and accounts
• Execute key internal controls and work with auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audit
• Assist with special projects as needed, including technical accounting research and integration of newly acquired facilities
• Other duties as requested

What Experience and Education You Need :

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required, Master’s degree preferred
• CPA certification or CPA track preferred
• Thorough understanding of GAAP
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook required
• Experience with major ERP is a plus

• Occasionally works evenings or weekends in order to complete objectives or to attend meetings
• Requires the ability to relate to others beyond giving and receiving instructions: must partner with colleagues without exhibiting behavioral extremes
• Requires the performance of work activities including reasoning, negotiating, instructing, persuading, or speaking with others; and respond appropriately to constructive feedback from executive management
