QSR Rebuyer & Customer Service Assistant

What You'll Do

You will oversee stock purchasing for the Foodservice/QSR customer base across Australia ensuring efficient operations and effective management of standard and promotional product lines. You will maintain daily communication with QSR customers and vendors, manage account responsibilities and monitor contracted days' cover to optimize working capital. You will also coordinate with operations and logistics teams to minimize stock shortages and manage reporting on supply chain performance.

Essential Functions

• Maintain daily contact and reporting to QSR customers regarding days' cover and supply issues
• Manage relationships with all QSR suppliers including vendor performance tracking and compliance reporting
• Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to support service delivery and manage seasonal and promotional requirements
• Monitor contracted days' cover and implement measures to ensure working capital is optimized
• Resolve pricing variances and discrepancies in collaboration with accounts payable, customers, and vendors
• Oversee logistics for imported product lines and manage quarantine hold requirements due to quality or food safety concerns
• Manage customer requested distribution center transfers to balance national stock coverage
• Other essential duties may be applicable and assigned as necessary.

What Experience and Education You Need

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a purchasing or rebuying role within the QSR sector
• Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Familiarity with WMS, RF, and TMS systems and IT platforms
• Demonstrated customer service experience with measurable outcomes
• Proven ability to communicate persuasively and solve problems in stakeholder management

Physical Requirements

• Requires several hours per day of sitting, getting up and down from chairs, reaching, and/or bending.

• Requires ability to comprehend and communicate with others, verbally and/or in writing.

• May require travel by automobile and airplane for business.

• May require visits to warehouse operations in temperatures at or below freezing.

• May require the occasional lifting, carrying, positioning, and/or moving of objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
