Primary Responsibility :Lead the finance team for total company North America Warehouse, Transportation, and 3PL Managed business segments. Plays the role of the “CFO” for the aforementioned combined business with a very strong dotted line support to the Senior VP of Operations for North America. This role will have 5 direct reports reporting to them (4 separate region Finance Directors) and one Transportation finance leader. Drives the finance operations function including business analysis and oversight, forecasting, and leading the annual operating and capital budgeting process for the combined business.What You’ll Do :• Serve as “CFO” for the combined business; Proactively drives and analyzes the business to make recommendations to the Leadership Team to optimize long-term financial results.• Manage the month / quarter end financial analysis process to ensure the executive team is provided with timely and thorough actionable analysis of the North American financial results.• Lead the annual strategic and operating budgeting process for their combined North American business from beginning stages to facilitating approval from the AMC Executive Leadership Team.• Facilitate the monthly / quarterly forecast process to ensure the quality, timeliness, and integrity of our quarterly / annual forecast is optimized.• Business partner to the SVP of Operations in planning and organizing weekly staff meetings, monthly BRMs, and all other business operations reporting and analysis as requested.• Oversight, cost control, and reporting of results for the combined business.• Knowledgeable in day to day business to have ability to present operational and financial results in the absence of the SVP of Operations.What Experience and Education You Need :• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA preferred• 10+ years of relative experience in a Finance / FP&A function in support of a large business with a number of different locations.• Strong business acumen and executive presence.• Proficient with business financial systems and tools such as MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, SAP, Oracle, BPC, Hyperion, etc.What Could Set You Apart :• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Strong team player and able to collaborate very effectively in a highly matrixed organization; Very good leadership experience.• Self-starter with exceptional ability to identify and solve problemsPhysical Requirements :• The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
