What You'll Do

Lead the Program Management Office in overseeing global work streams for new asset builds and infrastructure expansions, ensuring the delivery of core offerings to customers. Provide strategic leadership for multiple development projects, prioritize organizational needs, and manage project execution and reporting. Travel is required up to 50% of the time.

Essential Functions:

  • Oversee project management office personnel and ensure quality standards are maintained throughout project development and execution.
  • Collaborate with department managers and executive staff to supervise the PMO team and integrate business process delivery with customer requirements.
  • Ensure accurate project costing and manage delivery against approved budgets.
  • Coordinate with support functions to deliver operating system capabilities for incremental and new business initiatives.
  • Plan and oversee multiple construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring schedules are met and resources are allocated appropriately.
  • Prepare regular progress reports and proactively address obstacles and risks to project builds.
  • Onboard new business into the portfolio and keep stakeholders informed of project status.
  • Other essential duties may be applicable and assigned as necessary.

What Experience and Education You Need

  • Minimum 20 years of progressive experience in engineering and project management with responsibility for leading multiple large-scale, cross-functional projects and managing executive steering committees.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Project Management or equivalent discipline.
  • Applied Lean Manufacturing methodologies in project environments.
  • Completion of APICS, TQM or Six Sigma training.
  • Proven knowledge of federal standards and regulations and demonstrated expertise in maintenance training management.

  • Experience implementing quality assurance protocols and costing strategies in engineering management.

  • Ability to plan and execute initiatives over a 1-2 year time span.
  • Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Flexible and team-oriented approach with strong customer service orientation.
  • High level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality.

Physical Requirements

  • Requires several hours per day of sitting, getting up and down from chairs, reaching, and/or bending.
  • Requires manual dexterity with normal hand and finger movements for typical office work, including the operation of computers, telephones, and similar equipment.
  • Requires ability to comprehend and communicate with others verbally and/or in writing.
  • May require travel by automobile and airplane for business.
  • May require visits to warehouse operations in temperatures at or below freezing.
  • May require the occasional lifting, carrying, positioning, and/or moving of objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
